Plymouth High School Athletics has been awarded Chocolate Milk Grants for girls volleyball, boys cross country, boys ice hockey, and received a multi-team grant last fall as part of a partnership with Busch’s and Forgotten Harvest, which benefited girls cross country, girls and boys lacrosse, and boys and girls basketball. This grant provides funds to supply the girls track team, which last year had about 70 members, with protein-rich chocolate milk during the track season.Ĭhocolate Milk is a healthy beverage to hydrate as well as provide muscle-building protein. Girls Track Team Earns Chocolate Milk Grant All Plymouth Wildcats students, families, and staff receive 10% off all store purchases, and the Plymouth Wildcats Athletic Department will also receive a donation of 10% of all sales to those who identify themselves as Wildcats at the register. Metz will compete in the MHSAA Division 1 State Finals next weekend in Rockford, Michigan.Īva Eilola, a ninth-grade student on the gymnastics team, competed in her first MHSAA Reginal this past Saturday, earning sixth-place Division 2 finishes on beam and bars.Īniketh Visai, a senior on the boys swim and dive team (also National Honor Society), broke Plymouth’s oldest varsity swimming school record (2006), recording a 1:01.69 in the 100 breast stroke last week (also earning an MHSAA state cut in the event). Haley Metz, a senior on the gymnastics team (also National Honor Society andtrack and field), rocked the MHSAA Regional meet on Saturday in the Plymouth Gymnasium, scoring first-place in the Division 1 bars, beam, and all-around, tying the school record. According to Coach Schneider, Myles “is the model of what a teammate should be, and has had an excellent attitude and work ethic all season.” Myles hit a pivotal three-point shot in the team’s two-point victory over visiting Walled Lake Central on Thursday. Myles Merritt is a sophomore on the boys JV basketball team. Keith’s favorite sport is basketball, and he enjoys watching his brother play for Salem’s basketball team. Keith just dominated in the Special Olympics Basketball Tournament at Western Michigan on February 28 and the Stars took home second place. Participated with Unified Sports since it began in the spring of 2014. All responses received will be forwarded to the inspector appointed to undertake the Examination. Following consultation in February 2011 on the Publication Version North Somerset is proposing to make changes to the Publication Version. The Core Strategy was submitted to the Secretary of State on 8 July for independent examination. It will set out broadly where and what sort of development will take place and how communities can develop up to 2026.
The Core Strategy, once adopted will be the primary planning policy document for North Somerset.
